The Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta is now accepting applications for its fall grants cycle. Again this cycle, project proposals may be directed to either the Community Priorities or Rural Life Granting Programs.
The Community Priorities Fund is the Community Foundation's largest granting program, which exists as the result of unrestricted donations from generous, community-minded individuals over the past 52 years. Applications to the Community Priorities Fund support organizations and initiatives improving the quality of life in many different areas of the community.
The Rural Life Grants Program was established through a bequest from Pincher Creek-area rancher Bill Long, who named it in honour of his late uncle, Henry S. Varley. Grants given out by this fund support projects that enhance the quality of life in rural Southwestern Alberta.
Applications are due by Monday, October 15. Recipients will be announced in early December. For more information, please contact the Community Foundation Office or visit cflsa.ca/granting.
