The Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for the Fall 2016 Community Priorities granting program. Applications must be filled in via their online site http://cflsa.fluidreview.com/. The deadline to apply for a Community Priorities grant is Friday, October 14, 2016.
Community Priorities is the Community Foundation’s largest granting program. Applications are accepted twice per year, and grants support a wide range of community projects. In 2015, the Foundation awarded over $700,000 to more than 100 southwestern Alberta organizations and donor-designated recipients.
More information on eligibility and funding criteria for grants at the Community Foundation is available on the Community Foundation website. Organizations or groups must be registered with the Canada Revenue Agency, or be in association with a municipality to qualify for a Community Foundation grant. The Community Foundation staff is available to assist organizations with their grant applications at 403-328-5297.
The funding for Community Foundation grants is generated from the investment income of permanent endowments established by many generous donors throughout southwestern Alberta.
